The focus of this cross-cultural communications workshop is:
Identifying German-American cultural differences and how to live and work with them successfully!
Attaining language “must-haves”, such as American sports-idioms and colloquialisms. How to use them to enhance business and social dialogs.
Navigating the dreaded small-talk! Is it really necessary (?)…yes!! How do you do it?!
Identifying faux-pas in either culture – how to best avoid them in professional and social settings (what topics to avoid at the dinner table?)
Understanding German-American friendship building? Friendly or friendships? Should we really “stop by” or “grab a cup of coffee?”
Maximizing communication, minimizing conflict – ultimately building stronger relationships, professionally and personally when building a life in the United States as well as when traveling to Germany.
